• 5.0 out of 5 stars from Alice Hazelbaker -- Love this series! : I have read all 3 books in this series and I enjoy them more with each new book! I love the idea of a village of yurts, vacation rentals and regular residents, and a sort of self-contained place to live. In the last book, continued in this one, they are hosting the first trip for the totally refurbished Seas the Day yacht. And, of course they also have a murder mystery to solve! Clair, an officer on the force is injured and on leave (much to her consternation!) and she enlists the yurt crew to help her solve the murder this time! A wonderful group of characters, whose relationships make me wish I was there with them! I do highly recommend this series, which just gets better and better! Our girls and some of their men, are on the hunt and trying to plan a Party, and end the camping season. When a "retired" K-9 police dog is adopted by his human 2 legged "Mom" Carter is beoming a real sleuth, She seems to have skills that lead her into the right direction to solve crimes. • 5.0 out of 5 stars from Jobear -- Law and his Paw-C are back! : Law and Carter are getting ready to do the first run on the boat. Unfortunately they find a body before they can pull up the anchor. Now the Paw-C' s have to find out who did it before the party starts. This is an AWESOME book. This is the third book of the series and it is the best yet. It has fantastic characters and a mystery that will keep you guessing throughout the book. This is a must read for anyone looking for a fabulous mystery. You will not be disappointed! • 5.0 out of 5 stars from Sandy Sez -- Fabulous series : Carter is hiking with her retired police dog when he finds a body by the river. The women of “Seas the Day” are on the case! I’m really loving this series. The plots are clever & twisty and the characters are well-developed and believable. My favorite characters are the dogs! The books are set in a yurt village, which sounds delightful. I enjoyed this book and am looking forward to the next one. • 5.0 out of 5 stars from D. Keller -- Law Tracks Down Another One : Another great story in the Law and Carter (or is that Paw-C) series. Law finds a dead body and that leads to solving another murder. There is plenty of involvement of all the characters, making for a great story and character development. Plenty of action and lots of theories to track down as the crew tries to figure out who the killer is, along with hosting parties on their newly renovated yacht. • 5.0 out of 5 stars from Kara Marks -- Fun and unique cozy mystery series : This is the third book in this series; I’ve read and enjoyed the first two books also, and this one did not disappoint. It’s a very unique cozy mystery series and I really love it. I especially love Law, the retired police dog who helps Carter solve local crimes. This mystery was satisfying to solve and there was plenty of action. I definitely recommend this book and series; I was provided an arc, but these opinions are my own.
